Those of you who keep up to date with the going's on in my life, know that I'm due with my second in early June. I wanted to take this Mother's Day to bare a bit of myself with my clients, since so many trust me to document and share such intimate experiences of their lives, when they hire me as a birth or maternity photographer. I met with one of my previous clients yesterday and I can't accurately put into words how it makes me feel to see the children who I've documented coming into this world, grow up and getting bigger. Seeing their beautiful families and the lives they share together gives me the biggest sense of fulfillment and contentment. It's a pretty great gift. To give back, the only thing I can think to do today is to share a little bit of my own experience with you.
A few day's ago, I took on the task of taking my own studio maternity pics. I didn't have a ton of time, but I had an idea in mind that I wanted to knock out as fast as possible, and I think it turned out beautifully. Here is the result.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for being a client, or potential client. You are the reason I love being a photographer. I can't wait to have this baby, and I can't wait to get back on the job after maternity leave. I'll be back at the beginning of October. For now though, hope you are all enjoying your Mother's Day. I know I am. :)
